Last week saw strong winds, heavy rain and even snow hit many areas, particularly in the North and Scotland. The repair work now booked for the worst hit areas and the backlog of jobs due to access issues means that lead times for many jobs are now longer than standard across much of the country. With forecasts suggesting more bad weather on the way, lead times are expected to remain longer than normal for provisions across the countries and potentially affect fault repairs in the worst hit areas.
