Call Packages

Deep Blue offers a range of call packages to suit companies of all sizes. We are also happy to discuss tailored packages for your individual calling patterns. For instance if your spend to certain international destinations is a significant proportion of your bill, or your working hours are not the norm, then we can create a custom price plan to suit your needs.
By partnering with one of the most competitive carriers in the UK Deep Blue provides real savings on your monthly telephone bills. We are on average 30% cheaper than BT's standard business package.

Technology
Deep Blue can provide call services using Indirect Access (IDA) or more usually Carrier Pre-Select (CPS) using SIP (Voice over IP).

  • IDA - Normally used if you have a telephone system or PABX which can be programmed with a four digit code. This code diverts your calls to the Deep Blue network at the exchange. The advantage of IDA over CPS is that it can normally be made live within 1 working day, as long as you (or your maintainer) are able to program the code into your system.
  • CPS - This is the more usual access method, the exchange is reprogrammed to direct your calls to Deep Blue, this process normally takes 10 working days; although it takes longer to setup, it does mean that in most cases no changes are required to your equipment.
  • SIP Trunks - This is VoIP or Voice over Internet Protocol, it allows you to utilise an existing Internet feed, such as broadband, SDSL or leased line to send your calls via Deep Blue. You will need equipment such as a converged telephone system or IP converter box to be able to take advantage of this method.
